london arts club

recently my friend Oliver took me out to the members only Arts Club on Dover st. (you can take a peek while your trying on jeans at the Acne store). To be honest I wasn’t so impressed, the service was bad and the design wasn’t all that it could’ve been. But all in all I had a fantabulous time, which just goes to show that it matters who your with not where you are!

I know I know.. It’s a bit too late to post halloween pictures but I just came across this one of my friend Yasmeen who dressed up as a 1920s flapper dress girl, I think? Beautiful nonetheless.

this past summer my parents finally bought a house in Lebanon! and… they asked me to help them furnish it. a dream come true of course. so I wandered down into my grandparent’s basement where I found all sorts of beautiful furniture they had categorized as ‘old but we have to keep it because it reminds us of the old days’. this ‘old’ record player/radio is one of the gems I stumbled upon.

This past weekend all the artsie fartsie people flocked to Regents Park to attend the Frieze Art Fair in London. I attempted to go on Saturday with my fellow blogger friend however, the line for tickets was enormous so we decided to come back on Sunday. On Sunday I heard the line hadn’t gotten any smaller so I decided to venture to East London for the first time since I moved here. And well… I had my own little Frieze Fair.

This place is a literarily a coffee house. You can go browse at the coffees and tell the barista whichever one you would like to taste. He will brew it for you while you wander around the beautiful antique furniture. The coffee is free but tips are welcome.

Kings of Leon

Last year I went to see Kings of Leon on the 16th of August in San Francisco. They were playing at the Outside Lands festival — it was amazing. But it didn’t top their concert in London’s Hyde park this year.

Three is a Charm

Three is a Charm.
When I ventured to Paris in December this year and roamed the area of Le Marais, finding little vintage boutiques, walking down the streets of George V and Victor Hugo mesmerized by the big fashion houses, at as much Lebanese food as I could in St. Germain and visited Palais de Tokyo and the next door Museum of Modern Art, I told myself how I would love to come again in the summer. And so I did.

A MUST GO: Grazie, 91 Boulevard Beaumarchai

Blast from the Past

When I look at pictures of my dad when he was young I always catch myself thinking that 'those days' must have been amazing. I wonder if he thought that when he looked at his parents pictures.
